Professor Y丹亚 from Tsinghua Automative Sciences has noted that this project originates from a combination of policy support, market needs, and technological advancements. Policy influence supports the growth of smart traffic development; enterprises aim to enhance their innovation by leveraging self-driving to expand business avenues; while technological improvements provide the necessary power for car-to-road integration.
The core content of the project is divided into three key areas:
- Scientific and overall planning: This involves analyzing the current state of高速公路 and developing key technologies.
- Safety and application development (_intersectional): Includes完善ing autonomous roadsignatures, implementing self-driving integrated with vehicle-to-公路 systems, and providing navigation services such as匝道 integration management and offering information services.
- Technical research and testing (varied levels): This covers testing for self-driving, assistive driving, and pure self-driving at different levels.
This collaborative effort between the Chinese University of Hong Kong's Tsinghua Automative Sciences lab and four other companies:

They will work together to advance self-driving technology on highways while ensuring safety during testing.
As self-driving projects are increasingly demonstrated and accepted globally, the integration of car-to-road (C-R-L) systems has emerged as a powerful force in this area. It not only enhances safety and efficiency but also promotes the widespread adoption of new technologies.
